How can people on the catwalk compete with real celebs. Not like it really matters. because this is who SD has been claiming to be "hot, hot, hot". Yeah right. The entire catwalk is a joke.

New game for $

Stardoll has added a new game for money.It is called GlobeTrotter. I personally love the idea. We get to learn about other countries and get money at he same time. It took me 3 tries to get my $5 but if i keep playing i am sure it will be easier then any of the other game. This is def. a thumbs up for SD. I hope to see more educational fun from SD.

Non-Superstar Hot Buys

Non-superstar Hot Buys? I'm shocked! The layered purple skirt is released. At $12, it's pricey but it is for everyone! Hot Buys are rarely non-superstar, so scoop it up while it's available!

Personally, I'm loving the striped dress. It would look chic by itself or with fabulous accesories. Also, the animal print jumpsuit? So fierce. It is very Summer '09. The sun hat has quite a bit of potential. Stardoll sometimes messes up hats, but this one looks good. Floppy brim straw hats are perfect for hiding your face from those harmful UV rays, and the black stripe keeps it classic.

On the other hand... those vinyl hot pants? I thought we left those behind in the 90's. Apparently not. And see-through totes were hot last year, even though I never quite understood the appeal. Oh well, each to their own.

OK , so there's a water festival on stardoll and if you write a haiku you'll get free water feature for your suite.

Instructions:

1. Just go to: http://www.stardoll.com/en/campaigns/water/index.php

2. Write your haiku and submit it. You can even write on your native language.

3. Eureka! The water should immediately appear in your suite! It will be in the room where you saved your MeDoll

I think this is pretty cool.

Shoes shoes shoes.

I don't even know what to think. On the plus side SD is giving dolls a variety of shoes and colors. On the other hand, the same shoes are coming out again and again. many more examples can be seen in the shop i only used two.

Stardoll's Newsletters

When i first saw this i personally loved it! What a great way to inform members about products. I do realize that this is just a sales pitch for SD to try to sell more products. If SD gets too crazy with these ads however it might just get annoying. I also though that it would be available to all members. When i went to the shop, it was labeled for SS. Oh well. Maybe when we get a code. Who knows?
